Henna is a plant dye used since olden times. When applied to the skin, usually in the form of temporary art, as was done in India, Pakistan, the Arab countries as well as outside the Finnish public in these areas, it’s called the art of Mehndi. Bridal mehndi design, art has become popular in North America and Europe in mid-1990 where they are related to tattoos. This is misleading,, because the a,rt of mehndi i,s related to the a,dding of color unde,r the skin always.
